About JaneyJaney Lee Grace used to be a backing singer, touring with the likes of George Michael, Wham!, Boy George and Kim Wilde. She also had a top ten hit in 1992 as lead singer of Cola Boy, with the single 7 Ways To Love. She still writes songs and plays the odd live gig from time to time.
She took up radio presenting in 1989 with a gospel show for London station GLR and presented Sounds Of Gospel for BBC World Service. Janey has always been interested in a holistic, eco-friendly way of life and she developed her Imperfectly Natural theme while working on Steve Wright’s Radio 2 show. Janey responded to emails and letters on the show about her ideas and views and this led to a publishing contract for her first book, Imperfectly Natural Woman. She then developed the theme further to cover parenting in her follow-up book Imperfectly Natural Baby and Toddler. The book highlights her passion for natural pregnancy and birth, attachment, and ‘green parenting’. She is also a passionate supporter of home education. Janey now divides her time between writing books and articles on holistic issues, live speaking events around the country, and broadcasting.
